Education

Having the “claim” to be recognised as a big family, education plays an important role in the Village life, school, free time, and planning for the future. It is our approach to reality, without discount and without shortcuts.

Il Villaggio dell'Arca

The educational activity and the instruction of the Ark are made in accordance with plans and curriculum, drawing on the standard of general education. Education and teaching are carried out in Kazakh and Russian languages.

Extra-curricular organizations create the conditions for the personal development, for professional self-determination,
for the creative work of children,
for the realization of their potential inclusion within society, for the formation of self-Civil, for the general culture, for a healthy and better lifestyle and for the organization with many ideas for their free time.

The educational and formative projects of the Ark Village are basically three stages related to the different needs of the children:

Il Villaggio dell'Arca

Preschool age

This school for the younger children is very important because of the social and intellectual growth and for the autonomy of each child. Preparation for primary school is difficult in cases of neglect or dysfunctional families that are so common to all guests of the Village but this age group is the most vulnerable.

Pupils

We are helping as a family the children and young people who are attending the public school. We are, every day, faced with homework, the difficulties with different subjects… We try also to incorporate within the village a series of supplementary educational activities ranging from sports, computer class, foreign language and other recreational activities (arts and music skills).

Disabled

Public school, except for a few cases, denies access to educational programs for children with disabilities. Our commitment to those who live in the Village is to offer an alternative program and work with their abilities. In this category there is a small group of children who attend our “daily” center. An informative program that helps children with disabilities benefit from rehabilitative therapies while socializing with their peers.
